IMAGEMARK DONATES $250,000 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE TO THE CATHOLIC CHARITIES, ST. THOMAS CATHOLIC CHURCH FOR THE RELIEF EFFORTS OF HURRICANE KATRINA
Imagemark made a heartfelt contribution of $250,000 in the form of a merchandise donation to Catholic Charities, St. Thomas Catholic Church in Hattiesburg, MS on September 14, 2005 for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. These donated goods consisted of brand new clothing including t-shirts, Polo collared shirts and sweatshirts. Hurricane Katrina was the worst natural disaster to ever hit America, and its aftermath will affect the state of Mississippi for many years to come. It is through such generous donations that Mississippi will be able to offer care and relief to its communities. Imagemark’s humanitarian gesture will help rebuild the great state of Mississippi and is truly a testimony to the great work and goodwill of companies who are fortunate enough to help.
Governor Haley Barbour’s admiration of Imagemark’s donation was affirmed in his letter of appreciation to Imagemark. The Mississippi Hurricane Recovery Fund has been set up by Governor Haley Barbour to serve as the state’s central clearinghouse for corporations, organizations, and individuals to donate much needed money, equipment, goods, services, volunteers, and time to the hundreds of thousands of Mississippians who are recovering and preparing to rebuild from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. With the help of S.N. Thomas II, Imagemark’s Regional Director based in their Jackson, MS satellite office, the goods will be delivered to and distributed by St Thomas’s rectory staff to make sure everything gets circulated to the right people.
